if there were a way to determine if an animal’s problems are physical or emotional, wouldn’t you give ANYTHING to know? An animal who suddenly refuses to eat could be sick, grieving, upset at her people, suffering from a tooth-ache, protesting the kind of food, texture temperature or content of the food, or maybe her best friend outside moved away or got hit by a car, and you don’t even KNOW.

Don’t you wish there was a way to know? There is. They spend their entire lives loving us and trying to heal us. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could give some of that angelic healing back to them?

This Austrian camera hog was rescued from a factory farm where his back and all four of his legs had been crushed under the weight of his force-fed body. In this moment of glory, he starred in my workshop in Vienna and had over 100 students tune into him and send him healing love. I got him a girlfriend and he went on to live a short but happy life.

Distill and develop your intuitive abilities as:

Clairvoyance: (Clear-seeing) The ability to exchange mental pictures & even “film-clips” (moving sequences of events) to & from the mind of your animal friends.
Clairsentience: (Clear-feeling) The ability to send and receive emotion to and from your animal friends.
Clairaudience: (Clear-hearing) The ability to hear telepathic information in whatever language you speak.
X-ray Vision: (Medical Gestalt) The ability to use your body as an instrument to determine if and where your animals are in pain.
Photo Talk: (Remote viewing) How to connect to a distant animals using nothing but a photograph of the animal.

This little fainting goat stole the show in my workshop in Manhattan where he was brought up an elevator into a high-rise! And the biggest compliment? He didn’t faint once! If we’ve lost our connection to Nature in our big cities, we can always bring Nature IN!

We will explore the basics of Animal Communication in all of its forms which will include the “Body Scan” on an animal who gives us permission to see INSIDE his body! We will learn how to feel their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, and we will “track” a missing animal by simulating an exercise where you will be taught to Remote View and animal who has gone missing! Is this possible with nothing but a photograph of the animal who may even be in a distant foreign country? YES! It IS! Tracking is a LEARNED SKILL and I will teach you to find a new “muscle” that you didn’t know you had, and start learning to exercise it!

The ability to feel an animal’s emotional and physical pain is inside YOU! That is where God/Goddess hid the measurement tools. You were born with the ability to “Body Scan,” which means you can learn to use your body as an instrument in order to feel an animal’s body–whether it is suffering or reveling in good health–by changing your perceptions of limitation and embracing a new sense of Infinite Possibilities.

If you are a person who suffers from headaches, stomachaches, backaches, mild arthritis, achy joints, melancholy, anxiety attacks, or nightmares, you know that these are not life-threatening illnesses, but simply persistent annoyances. You may have afflictions your doctor can’t diagnose or treat, beyond suggesting that you take an aspirin. You would have even less luck obtaining help for these irritations if you couldn’t tell your doctor what you were feeling. If you were an animal, there would be no hope of getting help from a vet for these persistent aches and pains, either physical or emotional. You–as that animal’s guardian–are his only hope.

I’ve volunteered at big cat rescues all over the world to trouble-shoot health problems and Body Scan their cats. This handsome ambassador lived in Cheetah Outreach in Cape Town.

Many animals have to be almost incapacitated before their owners realize there is something wrong… Sometimes when animals are not feeling well, they display behavior that owners see as insubordinate. This is especially true of horses. Before you scold your animals for bucking, shying, kicking, biting, ruining your bedspread or carpets, stealing your belongings, destroying any of your property, barking, chewing on your furniture, or even just being unsociable, check in with them first to see how they’re feeling. Any sort of “misbehavior” is likely a cry for help and understanding. Animals tell us in these indirect ways unless you develop your clairsentience and learn how to body scan through the use of Gestalt.

Zen has spoken to my students from his high perch in Heaven to assure us that his spirit has survived the grave, and possibly even reincarnated into a new look-alike version of himself! And he still has great taste in books!

Do animals go to Heaven?

Will your beloved animals be waiting for you when you cross over yourself? Maybe they’ll even come greet you?

My God-cat, Bumbles, left one beautiful body and communicated to me that he would be back “in the Spring” in a more durable kitten body which would look just the same. His mom, my soul-sis in Wales, followed his instructions and found the same soul in a new body. Asanti Bumbles was born with a birth-mark on the exact SAME SPOT on his neck where he got the cyst that killed him in his prior incarnation! He allowed me the honor of assisting his reincarnation and helping his human mommy find him again! This magic is REAL!

Do they reincarnate? Do they have individual souls that remain sovereign throughout space and time like human souls? Do they change species? Is there a way to negotiate reincarnations and call them back to earth? How will we find them? How will they recognize us?

“Did I keep him too long?” “Did I let him go too soon?” These are some of the most agonizing decisions we ever have to make. “Should I put him down or let him go on his own? When?” Helping animals cross over is perhaps he most valuable and bittersweet aspect of my work. I try to open my heart and let the ocean of compassion flood through me, but it stings every time like saltwater on a freshly skinned knee. The burning ache, the awe, and the impending ecstasy never diminish with experience.

Every night, they parade into my bedroom, and I can see them as clear as the nose on your face…but bigger!

Are they still willing and available to communicate with us even through the pearly gates? As you can see, they certainly are! Many spiritual teachers still hold the notion that animals have some sort of collective consciousness where they dissolve after death.

Are human souls so different from our brothers and sisters: the dolphins, the lions, the eagles, the elephants, and our close kindred, the other primates. Every creature living on this planet has an immortal soul. Our bodies are our automobiles, but our souls are the drivers.

They helped me witness the most shocking miraculous healing I’d ever seen, when my famous actress aunt, Rue McClanahan of The Golden Girls fame, was in a coma in ICU where the doctors told me my Aunt Rue would be paralyzed for life if she didn’t move the right side of her body within the next 12 hours. I won’t repeat the entire story here, but I’ve written it all for you in the opening chapter of my last book. In short, a miracle occurred when and only when, I convinced my animal loving aunt to pretend her right hand and right leg were not human legs at all, but tiger’s paws, tiger’s legs, tiger’s power and strength. Tiger Soul showed up to shine and taught us out to access their miraculous healing power even when Aunt Rue was apparently on her ninth life!

In the seven years of seminars I taught in the Lake District in the U.K., one woman in a wheelchair attended every single year. She never “got much” in the way of tuning into the animals for information. In my final seminar, I asked the student in the wheel chair to Gestalt the body of a beautiful healthy horse while I asked her to “read” him. She struggled to her feet, and stood up behind the horse. For the first time in seven years, she received the most accurate medical intuitive information I’d ever seen her grasp. Gobsmacked, I asked her how she knew she was “tuned in” to the body of this horse, and what she was now doing differently.

She said that this time when she built the bridge of light (Lumensilta,) and asked the horse if she could Body Scan him, she reached a new level. She said she knew she was tuned in because this was the first time in over 30 years she was NOT in chronic pain. Only when she was in coherence with this horse, could he take her pain away. When she broke contact, her back pain came right back.

But what if she could have learned how to hold the resonance? The miraculous healing with my Aunt Rue had not yet happened, so this wasn’t a concept I could teach, or even grasp fully. But I’ve come a long long way since then, and the animals have been my teachers every step of the way. Shapeshifting With Sea Lions: A funky, floppy, sloppy, flabby, happy, clappy story to make you smile!

Another lesson revealed itself to me quite by accident that made me think about the power of Animal Spirit Guides in the funniest way. Many many years ago, after I’d started teaching Animal Communication but before these other Animal Spirit miracles had occurred, I was on vacation for the day with my brother in Southern California. We went out on a sailboat with nineteen other professional dancers.

Now, ballerinas are known for their expert balance, but today something was going to throw them off very badly. A storm blew in and suddenly we were trapped in the bay, unable to make our way back to shore. As the little boat tossed and turned more and more violently in the churning waves, all of our stomachs started churning, too! I had the rare honor of watching my older brother turn a strange shade of green while he lost his breakfast over the side of the boat. I was battling violent waves of nausea when all nineteen dancers clutched the railings and “tossed their cookies” into the waves.

Every single person on the boat got violently ill and vomited. Except me. Why? I tried something I’d never thought of before. As the sailboat started to pitch, and my stomach with it, I lay down on a bench, rocking like a rocking horse, and put my focus on the animals below the waves.

Sea life don’t flinch a gill when they navigate underwater currents, right? And the deeper we dive into the depths, the stiller the water will be, right? So at first, I “tuned in” to the fish. This kept my breakfast in my belly, but then I had the good fortune to look over and see sea lions, piled on a buoy, bobbing up and down in the churning bay. They were passed out on top of each other, rocking and rolling, riding the waves like master surfers so comfortable, they could sleep on their boogie board!

Mentally, I asked them to help me. For the rest of the boat ride, I lay on the bench, pretending to be a sea lion. Not only did I NOT succumb to the nausea, the nausea completely faded away and was replaced by an ocean of bliss. The sea lions gazed over at me, nodding, enjoying the rocky ride, like rodeo stars having some fun on the back of a mechanical bull. Oh, the looks on their fuzzy faces as they watched a bouncing boat of silly human monkeys trying to keep their balance on their two feet. Oh, sure, laugh you magniloquent floppy balls of flubber! And laugh, they did, pointing their flippers at us and laughing their whiskers off. Sea lions don’t try to roller-skate or sail over their aquatic home in a hot-air balloon, so what were these kooky land-loving apes doing on a boat, for heavens sake? And boat in a storm to boot?

Danny co-starred with me on a BBC news program at Molly Badham’s zoo. Danny diagnosed skin cancer on my hand which I immediately had removed!

Oh, what could be more fun than this? And did any of us have the good common sense to ask for their help, while we were tossing our cookies into their bathwater? Oh, noooooo! The circus had come to town and we humans were the clowns! The residents of this bay watched from the safety of their bobbing buoy, piled on top of each other like a stack of hot buttered pancakes, just basking in their own grooviness, like a bunch of rotund Rastafarians chillin’ to reggae music. They were in their element. Apparently, the pear-shaped pinnipeds had seen this idiotic human circus before, so most just knocked out and snoozed right through it. So, what was wrong with me?

I let them infuse me with their funkalicious bliss as I lay still—never taking my eyes off of them— in one of the most euphoric meditations of my life. One big sea lion picked up my psychic SOS, locked eyes with me, took mercy on me, and kept me centered. Every now and then, one of the blissed out blobs of blubber would snore himself off the pile and slide off the buoy, only to come barking back onto the tiny platform, while his snoozing friends clapped a fin and chuckled: “Don’t worry! Be happy!”

A couple of hours later, the storm calmed, the boat docked, and I gingerly pushed myself to my feet, but exited the boat triumphant— the only ex-dancer who hadn’t spent the day puking her tutu off in embarrassing agony. When the others asked me why I didn’t get sick, I shrugged. The balls of blubber knew something the ballerinas didn’t! I had a secret. I’d been serenaded with a love song from Funky Sea Lion Soul.

But now, I’m sharing that secret with YOU! I’ve experimented with this magic many many times over the years, and even taught it in live workshops. This isn’t something we think about in our daily lives—how the Spirits of other animals can assist us through our trials and tribulations, but the magic is endless.

As fast as a falcon? That’s how quickly we give readings!

I myself was struggling with stiffness and pain in yoga class earlier this week. I closed my eyes and begged my Animal Spirit Guides to come assist me. I don’t try to control the visions. I’m always open to surprises. But I do have a few favorites who help me regularly. When I’m suffering from spinal stiffness, I usually tune-in to animals who don’t have human bones at all, like dancing cobra.
